Licensing work in this practice is the unglamorous file: what you are allowed to do, what you must keep proving, and what breaks if the product team ships something new on Friday.

Purpose
Stop licensed activity drifting away from the authorisation text. Teams add payment methods, geographies or client types without rewriting the condition matrix. Banks and inspectors then treat the drift as a control failure. This mandate makes the drift visible early.
Scope and process
Read the permit, annexes and reporting duties. Map each live activity to a condition. Build an evidence calendar (what, who, when). Structure application or renewal indexes. Flag changes that likely need prior notice. We prepare the working file; we do not promise grant, and we do not file as your lawyer unless a separate power is executed with proper counsel.
Deliverables
Condition tracker, document index, owner map, management brief on constraints, punch list before submission or inspection. Intended customer: operators entering a licensed line, approaching renewal, or adding a product that may fall outside the current box. Pair with AML work when the licence is financial in nature.
